…with a routine

First post done, check! Now what’s the plan? I LOVE routine, I love knowing what to expect and when. It makes me feel safe and secure knowing I can keep to something that I’ve planned in advance. Does that make me a weirdo?

So here’s the plan – daily blogging!! Now may I just say this isn’t coincidence, my inner teacher just really enjoys perfect alliteration.

MAKE UP MONDAY – Expect anything beauty related, skincare, haircare, products, hacks

TRAVEL TUESDAY – Expect holiday inspo, photo galleries, money saving tricks

WEDDING WEDNESDAY – Follow along my whole DIY wedding journey from cakes to venues to flowers

FASHIONABLE THURSDAY – Expect hauls, organisation, interior design, DIYs

FOODIE FRIDAY – Expect recipes, meal plans, shopping tips

STUDENT SUNDAY – Expect lists, revision plans, fancy dress, essay advice

I’ll do my best to keep this up but I’m sure you’ll get some random bits here and there.

Please follow & keep reading!

…with life

keyboard-886463_960_720For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to start a blog. I love writing, reading, expressing myself and always thought blogging was the answer. About two years ago I started to think what I would blog about. I love fashion, make up, hair, cooking, films etc. (who doesn’t?!) I also love my career – education, learning and child development. Then I panicked – I’ve never kept a diary and my attempt at starting one of the those fashionable line a day journals was a complete fail. I just love to talk, there’s never enough room on an A5 diary page and so typing is the next best thing. Would anyone read it? Who cares? I just want to help. And that’s when it clicked.

Every single day I’m on Pinterest and Google searching for the answers to life’s (first world) problems. Here is my HONEST last 24 hours search history: how to make the most out of an empty Bath & Body Works candle? What’s the best present for my 27-year-old brother-in-law? Best tea tree acne methods? When’s the self assessment deadline? Why can’t you get married outside in the UK? How to make a beard trimming apron for my fiancĂ©e? Who else hates the Bachelorette film? How many cups is 100g of flour? What is a mortgage broker? Why is Nashville moving to Sky? How to buy Sky? How good is MAC’s strobe cream? LOL, the list continues…

The internet helps me. It helps me with everything. The best way I can contribute to this amazing online world is through helping some more. I envisage posting everything and anything as long as it helps someone. As the Beatles once said ‘I get by with a little help from my friends.’
