…with organising clothes

Hi! For this week’s fashionable Thursday I am going to show you how I store/organise my clothes. I share clothes between a chest of drawers and a built-in double wardrobe in my hallway. It’s the closest I’m ever getting to the American dream – a walk-in closet! In my wardrobe on the top shelf I keep shoes and on the floor I keep bags. Hanging, I keep dresses, skirts, coats and blazers. I also have hanging shelves where I plan my upcoming daily outfits for work.

I’ve tried quite a few rubbish Ikea chest of drawers but my Malm 4-drawer has been the best! I stack all my clothes upright and in colour order so I can easily find items. I have one drawer for short sleeve tops, one drawer for long sleeve tops and a drawer for trousers.

I keep bulky winter jumpers in a clear under-bed box, scarves in a small box, belts in a small box, swimwear in a bag and tights in a bag.

My favourite life hack is my underwear storage! I bought a door hanging shoe organiser in clear. I keep bras in the top pockets, knickers in the middle and socks in the next row. It is so much easier to find what you’re looking for and separate items when you don’t have any drawer space.
